The Thaumaturge Gets Delayed To Avoid Crowded February Releases
Developer Fool’s Theory announces the RPG The Thaumaturge has now been delayed to a March release date.
This isn’t thefirst time the studio has delayedthe game’s release, as just last November the game’s release date got pushed from December to February. They stated the game needed more “polish” and needed further development time in order to not “compromise” the game’s quality.
In case you missed it, The Thaumaturge follows an individual who can hone the power of spirits called Wiktor. It’s set in the 20th century in Warsaw Poland where the metropolis is vibrant. Full of busy cityscapes with merchants, soldiers, and townsfolk. However, this extraordinary power carries a dark side and must be wielded with utmost caution.
The game’s narrative turn-based RPG mechanics will combine a supernatural tale with some detective elements as Wiktor is tasked with finding out what happened to his father’s missing grimoire. Whether his power, a gift or curse will help him get closer to the truth only time will tell. Being a Thaumaturge allows players to navigate different situations in several ways.
