The roguelite Action-RPG The Unliving will be leaving early access on October 26th. Developer RocketBrush Studios and publisher Team17 announced the news along with a new full access trailer teasing of what awaits necromancers in the game.
As the name suggests the game is all about raising the dead to do your bidding as a necromancer. You will lead your undead army through an endless fight set in a dark fantasy world. The game combines rogue-lite with action combat. Face Herculean bosses and take down any that oppose you with your minions. But it’s not all about raising an army. You can restore a citadel hub with gathered resources. What makes the game challenging is the permadeath mechanic, each time a player dies they will be resurrected, keeping progression but they will need to power up their Necromancer once again.
The Unliving entered Steam Early Access in November last year, receiving a range of quality-of-life updates, and new game mode as well as optimising its Horde mechanics. Version 1.0 will be the fully polished version of the game.
The Unliving unleashes its hordes on October 26th for PC via Steam.
