The Chinese developerParcae’s Fate Studiohas confirmed that the open-world action gameUnending Dawnwill also be released forPlayStation 5in addition toiOSandAndroid. The release date has not been revealed. The company from Hangzhou, China, has showcased its debut work in a video lasting over seven minutes where, after an animated introduction of the world and its protagonist, it presents extensive gameplay.
Unending Dawnis described as anopen-world actionRPGwith anime aesthetics, inspired by works such as Elden Ring, Genshin Impact, and Sekiro. Developed under theUnreal Engine 5, the development of Unending Dawn is supported by Tencent and currently does not have a release date.
From the deep darkness beyond reality, intangible beings emerge, and strange colors crawl across the sky, filling the land with malice and taboos. Civilizations built upon layers of history, beliefs woven from lies, everything that mortals pride themselves on, crumbled into ruins on the Day of “Unending Dawn”.
However, some traverse the Path of Cognition, unreachable for common folk, bearing the curse of color that will ultimately destroy them, holding onto the hope that sustains the world’s existence.
At the moment, there is no news thatUnending Dawnwill be released for PC. However, its creators have confirmed a small surprise with its new gameplay.
Unending Dawn is as if the popular gacha game from HoYoverse merged with the soulslike games from FromSoftware. Due to its fantastic elements, it bears a strong resemblance to Elden Ring, the celebrated Game of the Year from two years ago.
However, the combat mechanics have a closer resemblance to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. What is clear is that this open-world RPG will give us a tough challenge.
Parcae’s Fate Studio has confirmed thatUnending Dawnwill not be exclusive to mobile devices because the game will also be released onPS5.
We are unaware if it will opt for theF2P (free to play)model ofGenshin Impact, although everything indicates that it will.Unending Dawnis in development by Parcae’s Fate Studio for bothiOSandAndroidas well asPS5, although it still does not have a release window.
