Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 2023 Release Date Not Out of the Question
Nov. 10, 2022It’s been a while since we had an update for Bloodlines 2, but in a recent interview between Paradox Interactive CEO Fredrik Wester and Swedish site Private Affarer the launch date announcement might not be too far off. The publisher has 15 games in the pipeline which does not include mobile titles.
If you look at the pipeline, we’ve been a little cautious about announcing things because we got burned a little bit on Bloodlines 2 (a game that’s heavily delayed, eds note). We’ve said we’re not going to release anything until we’re pretty sure of an absolute launch date or at least a launch month.
Since then a new studio has taken over the project, but Paradox have yet to reveal exactly who that is. The last we heard of the game was earlier this year when Paradox confirmed that it wouldn’t be featured at PDXcon but continues to be in good hands where development is concerned. The game has seen its release pushed in order to create a “worthy successor”.

It is also based on the tabletop universe of the same name. Bloodlines 2 will follow the story of a young vampire after being turned, awakening to a world where various vampire clans are met with political factions, all fighting for control of the city. The gameplay takes on stealth and first-person combat which includes some supernatural vampire powers.
