“Obviously, a successor toHogwarts Legacyis one of the top priorities in a couple of years. So, there’s certainly a significant contribution to the growth of that [games] business in our strategic outlook.”
In an interview withVarietyearlier this year, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment President, David Haddad, mentioned that the company planned to follow up on the success ofHogwarts LegacywithHarry Potter: Quidditch Champions, which was released on September 3, and “a series of other things” that “will allow fans to be part of this world, stories, and characters in increasingly deeper ways.”
This past June, a leak revealed that after the notable failure ofSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Rocksteady would be working on a new version ofHogwarts Legacy, something like a Director’s Cut. This is expected to be announced in the coming months and will serve as a teaser whileHogwarts Legacy 2is introduced.
