The latest Wayfinder trailer features the new playable character Venomess. Early Access starts August 15th for the online Action-RPG for Playstation and PC.
Airship Syndicate and publisher Digital Extremes have announcedEarly Accessfor the online Action-RPG Wayfinder will be commencingAugust 15th. Early Access will be available for platforms Playstation 5, Playstation 4 and PC via Steam.
A new playablecharacterwas revealed with their own animated trailer, Venomess. Founder’s Packs were also announced along with the in-game housing systems, Reward Tower and more. Venomess gets a League of Legends styled intro with her own animated trailer.
In case you missed it, Airship Syndicate have been behind games such as Darksiders Genesis and Ruined King: The League of Legends Story. However, they are going in a slightly different direction from their previous “boxed games”. Director Joe Madureira explains in a press release that Wayfinder had a successful beta run and they’re ready to unleash to the masses in Early Access ahead of its “full free-to-play release”.
A free-to-play game, Wayfinder will offer players a way to earn rewards through its Battle Pass. This isn’t a real surprise as most games that offer free-to-play usually monetise in a similar way. Airship promises that there are 100 differentItemsto collect and that they never expire.
The Reward Tower will earn player’s unique seasonal customisations. Leveling up means earning keys to rooms that are unlocked in the tower. These can lead to Sprays,Charms, Pets and other cosmetics. The good thing to know is that the Reward Tower will not expire, and can be played at any time once purchased. These will be available during theSeasons.
The Founder’s Pack offers several tiers, with access to two seasons inEarly Accesscontent. It also offers some unique rewards. One of those rewards grants instant access to the playable character Venomess.
Upgradeable versions of the Wayfinder Founder’s Packs are available in the platform Store. Offering tiers, Base Pack, Initiat Pack, Awakened Pack and Exalted Pack. Through the more expensive packs Awakened and Exalted can players gain the more powerful version of Kyros called Heroic Kyros. Only availbale during Early Access. All players will gain player housing calledApartments. Here players can equip powerful artifacts.
