Wild Hearts New Update Brings New Kemono, Skills and More
EA has released post-launch content for the monster-hunting title Wild Hearts which introduces new Kemono, skills, gameplay improvements, fixes and more.
It’s been roughly a month since the launch of EA and Omega Force’s Wild Hearts unleashed the monster fighting title for various platforms. An update brings the mighty Hellfire Laharback which is “a new breed of volatile Kemono”.
This Kemono is not to be trifled with as its name suggests, it brings the fury of hellfire. Located on Natsukodachi Isle, players can tackle this new beast once they have completed the game’s main story quests. Much like the behemoth hunting titleMonster Hunter Rise, more challenging foes are available after defeating themain story. In order to trigger this quest, players will receive a request from Suzuran’s husband Yoshichi. This will enable players to take on the forbiddable beast. The quest can be found by looking at the Main Map and open the Side Stories tab. Successfully quelling the Hellfire Laharback will grant players a shiny new award titled the “Fire Fiend Appeaser”.
The update also brings new skills to the table. The Talisman Skill gets the Infernal Blow after players take down the Hellfire Laharback. It increases the chances of setting prey alight and will cause a Fire Boost against any ablaze Kemono.
The Talisman Skill is deal for players who favour Fire weapons and those who want to take out enemies using its firey ability. Both effects of the skill allows for players to boost the damage they can deal by adding the fire damage.
The update also brings a number of improvements and fixes to the game. This includes being able to now look at the full list of skills equipped during armor creation, weapon creation and during armor modification. Other fixes include an issue that stopped players from receiving rewards after successfully completing a Kemono hunt. Another fix includes any Karakuri that contains food such as Ingredients Chest or Drying Rack will now be removed to make sure it doesn’t get destroyed during battles with Amaterasu.
This update isn’t the only post-launch content to hit the game, as a recent tweet also shared another challenging Kemono the Grimstalker is coming on March 23rd. More beasts have been teased to be arriving this April to step up the challenge.
