Nioh developer Team Ninja have announced the demo for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty which will be released for consoles and PC on February 24th.
Saved data from the demo will transfer to the full game upon release and completing the demo rewards players with a Crouching Dragon HelmetDLC. The previous demo back in September last year was only available for a limited time only on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, this time around it’s for all platforms. The demo will contain the first two chapters: Chapter 1: Village Calamity and Chapter Two: Two Chivalrous Heroes. Players will also get to test out online multiplayer. Those on Playstation and Xbox must be connected to the Xbox Network or Playstation Network as the demo is only playable online. You won’t need a paid membership however to play.
Team Ninja recently had a demo to play at the Taipei Game Show which allowed participants to face a boar enemy. They used feedback from this demo to help adjust and make improvements to the game. This included concentrating on making transformation speeds faster and as well as improving recovery mechanics compared to the open beta. Combat in Wo Long sets to have a more aggressive playstyle, matching the martial arts fantasy setting.
Previous footageof the game has shown the main character wielding a staff weapon and taking on a giant monkey who is easily four times the size of its opponent. The range ofweapons,bossesandenemieslooks to provide a challenging and fun experience.
