Zenless Zone Zerowill have a special pre-launch broadcast titled “Welcome to New Eridu,” in whichHoYoversewill showcase its new game on June 28th. The event will be streamed simultaneously onTwitch, YouTube, Twitter/X, and Facebook.

Those tuning in will be able to obtain information about launch rewards and participate in prize giveaways. One of the highlights of the broadcast will be the revelation of new Agents. These playable characters, known as Proxies, will be an essential part of the game. It is possible that the complete list of characters available at the launch of Zenless Zone Zero will be revealed during the event.
Zenless Zone Zerois set to launch on July 4th for PC, iOS, Android, and PlayStation 5. It is a free-to-play action RPG that incorporates gacha mechanics, similar to other popular HoYoverse titles like Honkai: Star Rail and Genshin Impact. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic future where humanity battles against the Ethereals and their Hollows from the perspective of various factions.
It is worth noting that Honkai: Star Rail and Genshin Impact are only available for mobile devices, PC, and PlayStation. Zenless Zone Zero will follow this trend and debut for iOS, Android, computers, and PS5 in early July.
While this is disappointing news forXbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switchowners, it seems it is still too early to give up hope. In a recent interview, producer Zhenyu Li discussed various topics related to the anime-style role-playing game, from the inspirations behind the art direction to future plans. During the conversation, the possibility of ports to more platforms was mentioned.
According to the article, HoYoverse is open to the possibility of releasing versions for Xbox and Nintendo Switch after the debut of Zenless Zone Zero on PlayStation, PC, and mobile devices; however, it is emphasized that this is currently a wish and not a structured plan.
“When ZZZ launches on July 4th, it will be available for PS5, mobiles, and PC, but Li said they won’t stop development there. They will work to bring ZZZ to Nintendo Switch and Xbox as well, although Li mentioned that the arrival of ZZZ on these platforms is a hope and not something set in stone,” the report reads.
While the producer’s statements may reassure the most pessimistic fans, it remains to be seen if these plans will materialize. Remember that HoYoverse announced a port ofGenshin Impactfor Nintendo Switch four years ago, but the status of the development and release date is unknown.
