Zenless Zone Zerohas achieved the milestone of 50 million downloads in 48 hours since its launch. The new game from HoYoverse, the creators of Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, is a free-to-play action RPG available on PS5, PC, and iOS and Android mobiles.
Honkai: Star Rail, the next game fromHoYoverse, also enjoyed a high level of success, but it is their new release that is surprising everyone.Zenless Zone Zero, the studio’s latest game, has already surpassed 50 million downloads.
The news was announced through the game’s social media, where the studio posted the announcement along with an illustration and a message of thanks. “The city that for a time only existed in the hopes and dreams of the development team has never looked so full of life as it does now. Your patience and support make New Eridu what it is today,” commented the studio.
To celebrate this milestone,HoYoversementioned that all players will receive1,600 Polychrome, the game’s premium currency. The only requirement to access this reward is to have started the game before the release of version 1.1, which is expected next month.
Beyond the celebrations, HoYoverse also spoke about the present and future of the game. “From the beginning of the closed tests ofZenless Zone Zero, player feedback has been at the forefront of the development team’s priorities. We have listened to and recorded the valuable advice provided by each and every player, actively pushing for the optimization and development of every aspect of the game,” the studio stated.
HoYoversealso talked about the possibility of bringing the game to more people: “In future updates, we will continue to optimize aspects such as game performance. While we prepare for the official launch, we have also been working hard on developing the Cloud Gaming version ofZenless Zone Zero. In the near future, we hope players can enjoy New Eridu in more types of environments.”
