Zoria: Age of Shattering a Tactical RPG is Getting a Free Demo on August 25th
Originally starting out as a Kickstarter project, the game is finally releasing this year.
But you won’t have to wait long to get a taste of the party-based game. A free demo will be dropping this week on Steam. Offering an expansive RPG world, Zoria: Age of Shattering is about recruiting warriors and mages to assemble a team to free the Kingdom of Zoria. With four of the kingdom’s best, you will fight the hellspawn that roams the land. From magical forests to bustling towns that have now grown dark and dangerous.
The game Zoria: Age of Shattering features turn-based combat, with an ever-changing environment. Players will get to build their own base called The Outpost and upgrade it along the way. Here will be your hub for organising your group and well as send them on autonomous missions.
Of course, you will be able to craft items, rest at your base and prepare what’s necessary for survival out in the treacherous world. According to their Kickstarter page, there will be nine classes in total. Setting off solo in order to find companions to join your squad.
Exploration is also tied to certain party members’ skills. They can unlock new areas and even quests. The indie game certainly has a lot to do between battles, with alchemy, cooking and more to keep you busy.
